Serve Our Seniors

Our Serve Our Seniors program was inspired by the overwhelming needs of seniors living in South Phoenix who continue to struggle with substandard housing, increasing rents, transportation challenges, and lack of resources – especially for those who are taking care of grandchildren. A Permanent Voice is committed to ensure that these families are heard and supported.

Our Voices Youth Development Program Youth Basketball

Our Voices Youth Development Program is a youth basketball program that improves motor skills, coordination, flexibility, and endurance. It also encourages speed, agility, and strength. These skills are shown to have a positive effect on promoting a healthy body weight and encouraging more physical activity, which can enhance cardiorespiratory fitness and self-esteem.

Project Safe Neighborhood Inititive Helping underserved youth, families and seniors.

A Permanent Voice is dedicated to helping  underserved youth, families and seniors in South Phoenix, we’ve seen firsthand the negative impacts of socioeconomic disparities and the personal struggles that people in the community face every day. Meeting these challenges head-on is what drives our programs which focus on educational and economic empowerment, self-advocacy, resiliency, and well-being. Through our work and mission, we’re helping to uplift our neighbors and strengthen our community.

In collaboration with the United States Attorneys Office (USAO) we invite local Law Enforcement Agencies such as; , Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), Phoenix Police Department, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and others to promote and educate youth and community about safe spaces.
